Laura, a graduate of Miami University with a degree in English Literature and a minor in Theatre History, served as a Development Officer at the Tony Award-winning Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park for six years. Laura credits the Playhouse with providing her with a
great deal of hands-on experience and access to some of the greatest arts administration minds in the Midwest.

Laura was a founding member and officer of the League of Cincinnati Theatres (LCT), serving as its President from 2003-05, increasing LCT’s membership, incorporating the organization and spearheading their 501(c)3 application process.

Over the past several years, Laura has been privileged to work in various volunteer capacities with numerous area theatres, including Cincinnati Shakespeare Company and the Know Theatre Company. Laura served with Cincinnati’s Arts Services Office’s Business Volunteers for the Arts program for several years, volunteering on both the Advisory Board and the Application Review Team. In 2003, Laura was noted as one of Citybeat Magazine’s "The Next Influentials." In 2006, she was invited to join the Ohio Arts Council's Arts Access Review Panel, and will begin partnering with Cincinnati's Fine Arts Fund to offer fund-raising Seminars in early spring of 2007. A member of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, American Association of Grantwriting Professionals and the Association of fund-raising Professionals, Laura lives in Clermont County two small but assertive dogs, Zoe and Connor, and the very forceful spirit of her furry companion of 16 years, Dora.
