Laura has been a pleasure to deal with in the process of developing our grant and foundation program. She has been easy to work with during this process. Her responsiveness to deadline issues has been very good. The quality of her work is outstanding. The professionalism she has exhibited is above and beyond the call of duty. She has come into our organization, which has never had a formal grant program, and helped us develop processes that are allowing us to pursue the foundation and grant monies to further our mission. During this process she has had to help us with developing internal protocol so that we as an organization have a better understanding of our own internal workings. The experience with Laura has been a good one. We would retain her again without hesitation.

Laura has been Grant Writer for Historic Southwest Ohio, Inc. since the fall of 2007.  We are very pleased with the work she is doing for us. She produced one very difficult Federal Grant and has maintained a steady flow of local foundation grants.  She understands our needs and is able to coach and direct us to produce needed documents and information for her to support the grants she is writing on our behalf. Laura is very professional and detail oriented; she understands that we need not only funding for programs, and salaries, but also for bricks and mortar and she works to aid us in securing such funding. Laura has a knowledge of national, state and local funding sources and which to seek out for our different needs. It is a pleasure working with someone so professional and with such expertise.  We look forward to a very long working relationship.

THE POINT/ARC OF NORTHERN KENTUCKY—Greg Angel, COO

HISTORIC SOUTHWEST OHIO, INC. - Jane McCone, Executive Director

I contracted Laura to write a couple of grant proposals for the Contemporary Arts Center (CAC) in Cincinnati, OH. At any non-profit, there is more work than time. Laura was great. She jumped right in, asked the right questions and got the job done. The following year, I hired Laura to create the foundation plan for the CAC. Laura was always available when I needed her and was great about working under a tight deadline. I would work with her again in a heartbeat.

Ms. Everhart helped Cincinnati Shakespeare Company at a crucial moment in our development by writing several solid proposals in a very short period of time. I was particularly impressed by her ability to understand the mission and vision of our organization and then research and identify new, targeted prospects for funding. In just over a year, she has dramatically increased our funding from foundations and laid the groundwork for us to continue growing our resources. Plus, she's fun to work with-- even on a deadline.
